HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANDREI!!! :D
It's my godchild's first birthday!!!
It was a Sesame Street-themed birthday party held at Quezon City Sports Club. Most of the guests were relatives of the parents; some were friends (us included). Some of the ninangs and ninongs were present, some weren't. But Keith and I were present! :)
Here's the cute little boy!!! (Grabe Cams, parang kelan lang yung baby shower mo! Laki na agad ni Andrei!) And yes, he's curly. He got it from her Mom. He's a very good boy, too. I've never seen him irritable or heard him cry even once on that afternoon!

As for my outfit post:
I wore a soft, thrifted, semi-sheer (if there's such term) white blouse and a coral-colored shorts today. I didn't want to go all out since it's a kid's birthday party so I wore my brown lace-up oxfords/ankle booties instead of heels (although that was the plan).
My blouse has a vintage feel, probably because of the embroidery details on the collar and the part where buttons are placed. I used a pastel-themed necklace which consists of pearls and beads. This necklace is DIY and will be sold in my next collection that will be released anytime this week. :)
This coral-colored shorts (which you have seen in my former post as my recent purchase) that has laser-cut details on its hem is my current favorite. Apart from its details and color, it has an easy, breezy feel to it which I love. This shorts can go from day-to-night if accessorized properly and mixed with other items accordingly. :)
My current alternative to flats: my oxfords-slash-ankle booties. I actually bought this pair for the sole reason that it would look good on the dress that my uncle gave me. Very Taylor Swift-ish. But I realized that this pair can go not just from rugged-ish/casual to semi-formal/formal, depending on how you will dress it up. I was kind of hesitant to wear it with my outfit because I have a feeling they won't look good together because the outfit was giving a chic, feminine vibe. But hey, in dressing up, one should take chances, too! So I did. When I looked at the mirror, voila, they fit together! The shoes gave a more relaxed vibe to the femininity of the whole ensemble.
Umarte some more.
And that's how my Sunday went. Tomorrow is a holiday -- Chinese New Year -- so I'm going to sleep a little late and watch City Hunter with my brother. :) Later, everyone! Kung Hei Fat Choi! :)
