Looking back, a lot has changed, especially with me. I discovered more about who I am and what I am capable of. I learned to rely on myself more because I had no one else. The way I want to live my life also changed because I found the freedom to do so. Even my priorities were reshaped because I am in a better place with better circumstances. Though I haven't changed my career just yet, I no longer feel as stuck in a life that I wasn't even excited to wake up to. My relationship with my family and friends also became stronger.
I chose to leave a way of life and live a new one. A new one that I happen to like a whole lot more. I will always be grateful for that opportunity and the experiences that came with it. So no, I am not going back "home". Because this is home. I am home.
