Well, hello 2011! :) First post of the new year! :D
Let me start by sharing with you the Christmas gift that I got just this afternoon from my besteeeesssst bestfriend in the whole wide world! :D

Yes, he gave me this fashion design book!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! He totally made my day!!! He arrived at my place this afternoon and I was super shocked when he gave it to me and saw the glimpse of it inside the paper bag. Oh how I couldn't believe he actually bought me that. Haha. I saw it once at a bookstore but I didn't bother to browse it because I thought it looked crappy. Haha! Then I found out I was wrong about it being crappy, by the way. :D

Moreover, after the shock with the gift, he and I bonded – meaning we ate ice cream and talked about our out of the box, risky (at least that’s what our parents think of) ‘life plans’. Hahaha. We were supposed to eat out but he fell asleep waiting for me to be home and I was starving already so I ate while waiting for him at home as well. Since he got a job 1 ½ months ago, this is one of the things we fail to do in a way that we used to do. We used to talk and hang out a lot but since he got his own thing now, of course, the bonding and talking became less. But never less of being friends. that's for sure. I just missed doing those little random things with him that I now find myself doing it with our common friends -- which is also a good thing as well, don't get me wrong.
So to you my dear BFF, (I know you’ll be reading this because I’m gonna send the link to you after I publish it. Plus it is just short.), I missed you!!! :D

On the other side of things, I watched Project Runway Season 6 just now and a statement by Ra’mon struck me:
"It's different to find something you'll be great at and it's different to find something you'll be passionate about."
Can he say it any better? For a person who left his Neurosurgery career and went for what he is passionate about, he surely is passionate about fashion that he courageously left the great career he had established for years. He is now my idol. Hee. :p
Anyway, that’s all for now folks. I think I’m having an intestinal flu and I'll be down with a fever any minute soon (Ugh.) so I’mma head to bed. Later people. :D
